​In this work, I explore the concept of animism, kinship connection, and motherhood within the culture I was raised in. Mining from animistic ancient Chinese naming practice within my culture, this project is inspired by my non-being god mothers in my grandmother’s house in Lashio, Shan State, which are a well and a tree.​
